The White House and major automakers announced a deal for a coordinated EPA-NHTSA rulemaking that will increase fuel economy standards for new light duty vehicles to 54.5 miles per gallon by 2025 . . . EPA proposed first time regulations of emissions of volatile organic compounds and hazardous air pollutants from oil and natural gas production facilities, but the agency also postponed (for the fourth time) release of a reconsidered National Ambient Air Quality Standard for ozone . . . House appropriations committees are working on bills that would impose deep cuts on EPA and forbid the use of funds to implement both domestic and international climate policies . . . .Click here to read the Update on our website
