EPA will not meet its September 30 deadline for publishing a proposed rule to regulate greenhouse gas emissions from new, modified, and existing power plants . . . Congress returned and the House of Representatives took immediate aim at EPA, passing bills that would delay compliance deadlines and holding hearings that called agency officials on the carpet . . . The recently finalized Cross-State Air Pollution Rule is the object of acute attention, particularly for its effects on Texas. EPA Air Administrator Gina McCarthy told members of Congress that the agency has found more allowances for the Texas sulfur dioxide emissions budget.Click here to read the Update on our website
